Beşiktaş striker Demba Ba has scored 12 goals in 15 games since joining from Chelsea on a £6 million move this summer.
Ba scored a brace in the 2-0 win against Kasımpaşa on the Sunday 23 November to take the Black Eagles into first place.
The Senegalese international scored his first goal from the penalty spot midway through the first half.
Ba doubled the home sides lead just before the half time whistle with a well timed header from just outside the six-yard box.
The powerful striker was a constant threat throughout the game, completing the highest number of successful dribbles (2) and scoring two out of his three shots on goal. Ba held the ball up well with his back to goal, played in his teammates and caused the opposition defence problems with his off the ball movement.
Ba has now scored five goals and provided one assists in the Süper Lig but has 12 goals and three assists in all competitions.
