Beşiktaş striker Demba Ba scored a brace against Karabükspor to take his goal tally to 15 goals in 17 appearances since joining from Chelsea this summer.

The Black Eagles move into first place in the Süper Lig after beating Karabükspor 2-1 away.

The Senegalese international scored his first goal goal on 53 minutes after Jose Sosa set him up with a well timed pass which Ba chipped over the keeper.

Sosa setup Ba once again two minutes later with a well timed cross that was met by a header from the powerful striker.

Ba caused the opposition problems throughout the game with his movement and hold up play.

The Senegalese international was restricted to two shots on target by the Karabükspor defence however, converted both chances.

Ba has now scored eight times in his last five games.

The 29-year-old striker has already matched Hugo Almeida’s total number of goals scored last season. The Portuguese international scored 15 goals in 33 appearances.
