£20m Liverpool & Wolves target Talisca strikes surprise deal with Turkish champions

Besiktas have struck a deal with Benfica over the transfer of Anderson Talisca according to Turkish football journalist Gökmen Özdemir.

Per the source, the Brazilian midfielder will join Besiktas on a one-year loan.

Talisca has however, been closely linked with a move with Liverpool and Wolves.

In fact the Sun only recently reported that Talisca was on the verge of a £20 million move to Wolves.

The report claims that the Championship club have had a cash injection after being taken over by a Chinese consortium – Fosun – and that they have been working with Gestifute boss Jorge Mendes on bringing in young talents from across Europe.

Fosun do hold a minority share in Gestifute – Mendes’ management company.

The report also claims that Liverpool have been closely inked with a move for Talisca.

Mendes does however, also have close ties with Besiktas and the Black Eagles would be able to offer first team and Champions League football next season.

The highly rated 22-year-old midfielder scored twice in the Champions League last season and made 21 appearances in the league last season.
