£20m Turkish midfielder wants Everton move over Man Utd

Fenerbahce midfielder Ozan Tufan has been linked with just about every top Premier League outfit over the last few days.

The Express however, claim that the 21-year-old would pick Everton over Manchester United.

The Istanbul giants value their star man as being worth £20 million according to Talksport and he does still have another four-years remaining on his contract.

United were the bookmakers favourites to sign Tufan according to trading director of Betstars Ian Marmion.

“Ozan Tufan impressed for Turkey at Euro 2016 and it’s no surprise that he’s been the subject of much interest from several Premier League clubs,” Marmion was quoted as saying by the Sport Review.

“After a flurry of bets in the last 24 hours, Manchester United have emerged as overwhelming 15/8 favourites to sign him.”

The Newcastle Cronical claim that United have been keeping tabs on Tufan for 12 months meanwhile Liverpool and Tottenham have both been closely linked.

Despite the daily transfer links Tufan is expected to stay at Fenerbahce this summer a source close to the player told Turkish-football.com.

Tufan is represented by the same agent as Arda Turan – Ahmet Bulut – who has close ties to most major clubs across Europe.
