Başakşehir manager Abdullah Avcı believes his side were naive against Karabükspor.

The Istanbul based side drew 2-2 despite going ahead in the later stages of the game.

“We had a lot of chances that we squandered, we lost our cool and had a man sent off, this is not our usual style of play,” Avcı was quoted as saying by Eurosport TR.

“We went ahead despite going down to 10 men and then blew it, we was naive.”

Karabükspor took the lead on 21 minutes but were pegged back just four minutes later.

Başakşehir went a man down on 82 minutes following the red card shown to Sedat Ağçay.

Abdullah Avci’s side managed to take the lead on 87th minutes but were denied the victory on 90 minutes when Traore equalised.

Başakşehir remain in forth place following the draw but could be leapfrogged by Bursaspor and Trabzonspor this weekend should both sides win.

Karabükspor remain in 17th place with 16 points in 19 games. The Steelers are without a win in their last five league games.
