Trabzonspor secured their place at the top of Group B and a place in the next round with a 2-0 victory away to Akhisar Belediyespor in the Ziraat Turkish Cup.
The Black Sea storm took the lead in the 24th minute when Isak Dogan found the back of the net. New transfer Erkan Zengin doubled the lead in the 54th minute. Trabzonspor finish the group in first place with 12 points from six games.
Ersun Yanal’s side have scored 14 goals in the group stages while only conceding once.
Akhisar have been eliminated from the competition with six points from six games.
