Akhisar complete transfer of West Ham forward Ricardo Vaz Te [divider]

Akhisar completed the transfer of West Ham forward Ricardo Vaz Te in an official signing ceremony held at the teams Antalya training camp.

The Akigolar released a statement on their official website confirming the move.

The statement read: “Akhisar have signed West Ham’s 29-year-old forward Ricardo Jorje Vaz Te on a six month contract.”

West Ham recently confirmed that Vaz Te had his contract terminated by mutual consent via the official club website.

Vaz Te scored the winning goal in West Ham’s Play-Off final win against Blackpool at Wembley in May 2012.

The Portuguese forward has however, struggled for playing time this season.

Akhisar also confirmed that Braga midfielder Custodio Miguel Dias De Castro joined on a 1.5 year deal.

Custodio only played eight matches for Braga last season.

The 31-year-old defensive midfielder joined Braga from Guimarães in 2010 and made a total of 123 appearances for the Portuguese outfit.

Akhisar recently appointed Roberto Carlos as manager on a one and a half year deal.

The former Real Madrid star recently resigned as manager of Sivasspor after a poor start to the season.
