Fenerbahçe winger Nani stated that former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson was like a father figure to him at the club.
Nani also underlined that he learned a lot under the United legend and that he does not have any bad memories of his time spent with Ferguson.
“Alex Ferguson was like my father I learned so much from him and gained so much experience,” Nani told Fanatik.
“I got to this stage in my career thanks to him he opened doors and taught me to look at things from a different perspective I did not have any bad moments with him.”

Nani was signed by Ferguson in 2007 and went onto spend eight seasons at the Premier League giants winning four Premier League trophies the Champions League and World Club Cup.
The 28-year-old spent last season on loan at Sporting Lisbon before joining the Yellow Canaries on a €6 million move on Monday.
Nani signed a three-year deal with the Istanbul giants and has already joined his new side for pre-season training.
Fenerbahçe have also been closely linked with Nani’s former United teammate Robin van Persie who is expected to join within the next few days.
