Galatasaray fullback Alex Telles has not received an offer from Roma according to his agent Fernando Otto.
“Roma have not made an offer for my client,” Otto was quoted as saying by Sporx.
AS Roma were reported to be interested in signing the Galatasaray left back Alex Telles according to Turkish Newspaper Milliyet.
The Serie A giants are looking to sign an alternative to Ashley Cole who has failed to impress since joining from Cheslea at the start of the season.
Otto did however recently, hint that Telles would consider a move Italy were an offer made in the summer.
“Alex is happy in Turkey and has a contract with Galatasaray but you never know in the future, who would not want to play for the Italian giants?,” he told Radyospor.
Telles joined Galatasaray on a €6 million transfer from Gremio last January and has made one goals and an assist in 31 appearances for the Lions.
Galatasaray are currently first in the Süper Lig but have played an extra game compared to Beşiktaş and Fenerbahçe who trail closely behind.
