Alex Telles included in Marca ‘Americans’ Team of the Week [divider]
The team is selected from the most prominent players from the Americas in European leagues this week.
Telles stared in Galatasaray’s 2-0 win against Rizespor on the weekend.
The Brazilian left-back compelted 36 passes with 86 percent accuray, made three interceptions, two clearances and was given a 7.12 rating according to Whoscored.
The young fullback struggled for first team football under former manager Cesare Prandelli.
However, under Hamzaoğlu, Telles has become a first team regular. The 22-year-old has played 90 minutes in the Lions last six Süper Lig matches.
Galatasaray have not lost a Süper Lig game in which Telles has played 90 minutes this season.
The 22-year-old has played 17 times in all competitions for Galatasaray this season.
Telles joined Galatasaray on a €6 million transfer from Gremio last January and has made a total of 37 appearances for the Istanbul giants.
