Alper Potuk still has a chance of being included in Fenerbahce’s squad for this weekends intercontinental derby against Galatasaray.
The energetic midfielder was ruled out of the game earlier this week due to a hamstring injury however he was able to participate in light training today.
Manager Ismail Kartal and the clubs medical team will monitor Alper’s situation carefully and make a decision regarding his fitness closer to kick-off.
Fenerbahce are currently 3rd in the Turkish Super Lig following a draw and defeat against Konyaspor and Akhisar Belediyespor in their last two games.
The Yellow Canaries will be seven points off the top of they lose the derby this weekend.
Galatasaray sit at the top of the table with 51 points in 22 games and have recorded four wins in a row.
