Alper Potuk & Mehmet Topal return to Fenerbahce training [divider]

Fenerbahçe midfielders Alper Potuk and Mehmet Topal have returned to training ahead of the Süper Lig encounter with Gaziantepspor.

Alper Potuk was an injury doubt and Mehmet Topal was expected to miss the weekend game after injuring his ankle.

Topal came off injured during his sides 4-1 victory over Rizespor in the Ziraat Turkish Cup.

The Turkish international has three goals in 23 appearances for Fenerbahçe in all competitions.

 

Fenerbahçe qualified for the quarter-finals following the win. Sivasspor, Kayserispor, Bursaspor, Galatasaray, Kayserispor, Manisaspor and Mersin İdman Yurdu have also qualified for the next stage.

The Yellow Canaries are expected to have a full strength squad against Gaziantepspor except for defender Egemen Korkmaz who is a doubt.

Fenerbahçe are currently in 2nd place in the Süper Lig with 43 points from 19 games this season.

The Canaries have won their last eight consecutive league games against Gaziantepspor.
