The reigning La Liga champions were serving a FIFA transfer ban restricting the club from registering new players but will be able to play Turan from January when the penalty is lifted.
Turan has not been able to play but he has been training with the team and immersing himself in the club culture.
The Turkish international star revealed that he has been impressed with how much effort the club makes to ensure new players settle in.
Turan also stated that he did not realise just how big the club actually until he actually joined.
“The club do a great effort in helping players to settle in I really feel a part of the team and everyone has been so welcoming,” Turan told Fanatik.
“The club is an amazing organisation I did not realise just how big they were until I spent time here.”
Turan has been involved in various non-footballing events and promotional functions with the club since joining including recently meeting Bill Gates for the ‘Let’s Beat Extreme Poverty’ in Japan.
