Arda Turan happy at Atletico Madrid [divider]
Arda Turan has revealed that he is happy at Atletico Madrid and has no intention to leave.
“Every match is of vital importance at this level,” Turan said.
“I have a contract with Atletico Madrid until 2017, I am playing for one of Europe’s strongest clubs and have no intention to leave.
“I am very happy hear, I believe with my heart, mind and spirit that this is the place for me.
“I want to make Atletico fans and people back in Turkey proud.”
Turan has been closely linked with moves to Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal over the past few seasons.
The Turkish international was recently nominated for UEFA.com users’ Team of the Year 2014.
Turan became the first Turkish player to win a La Liga title when Atletico Madrid lifted the title last season.
The 27-year-old was also part of the Atleti side that reached the Champions League final.
