Arda Turan played a key role during Turkey’s 3-0 victory over the Netherlands in their Euro 2016 qualification clash.

The Barcelona star created one goal and scored his sides second goal leaving Turkey in third place with a chance of making it to France next year.

Turan worked tirelessly against Netherlands harassing the away sides defensive line and scored his goal as a result of dispossessing the opposition inside their penalty area.

The Turkish international performed above expectations considering he is lacking match practice having not played a single game for Barcelona since joining in the summer.

Turan is unable to play for Barcelona due to a FIFA imposed transfer ban however, the 28-year-old played an hour of football against the Dutch on Sunday.

The 28-year-old has now scored twice and provided two assists in his last three Euro 2016 Qualifying games for Turkey.

Turkey take on Iceland and the Czech Republic in their next two Euro 2016 qualification games.
