Arda Turan named in Barcelona squad ahead of Espanyol clash

Ballon D’or coach of the year Luis Enrique has included Arda Turan in his Barcelona squad for the third consecutive game going into the Spanish Cup Last 16 second-leg tie against rivals Espanyol at the RCDE stadium.

Turan made his Barcelona debut in the 4-1 victory over Espanyol at the Camp Nou Spanish Cup Last 16 first-leg tie last Wednesday.

The bearded winger was also given the start in the 4-0 win against Granada on the weekend in the league.

Barcelona have won both games in which Turan has started scoring eight goals in the process with Ballon D’or 2015 winner Lionel Messi scoring five of them.

Espanyol will be without former Barca player Víctor Sánchez, as well as defender Arbilla and midfielder Cañas.

The complete Barcelona squad is as follows: Ter Stegen, Masip, Piqué, Rakitic, Sergio, Dani Alves, Arda Turan, A.Iniesta, Suárez, Messi, Neymar Jr, Mascherano, Bartra, Munir, Jordi Alba, Aleix Vidal, Vermaelen and Mathieu.
