Barcelona legend Xavi has praised the transfer policy of Luis Enrique stating that Arda Turan and Aleix Vidal were the best players the club could have signed.
Xavi went as for to claim that in his opinion Barcelona do not need any further transfers following the arrival of Turan and Vidal as far as the midfield is concerned.
“Personally, with the arrivals of Aleix [Vidal] and Arda [Turan], no [Barca don’t need reinforcements at the moment]. Maybe something in attack to complement the trident, I don’t know … it’s up to Luis Enrique,” Xavi was quoted as saying by Barca Blaugraes [via Mundo Deportivo].
Turan and Videl both arrived over the summer transfer window but had to wait six months before making their debut due to the FIFA transfer ban imposed on the club.
The ban was lifted in the new year and since making their debut Vidal and Turan have both impressed.
In fact Barcelona have yet to lose since Turan made his debut against rivals Espanyol last month. Barca have won 10 and draw one since his first game and have been victorious in all eight games he has featured in.
Xavi left Barcelona after spending his entire career at the club for Qatari side Al Sadd last summer.
