Arda Turan will miss first Champions League game against Arsenal

Barcelona star Arda Turan will miss the first Champions League Last 16 clash against Arsenal due to suspension.

Turan was sent off against Real Madrid in the Champions League quarter-final stages last season.

The Turkish international has yet to make his debut for Barcelona this season despite signing on a five-year deal over the summer due to the FIFA transfer ban.

Turan will however, be able to play for his new club in January and will be available for the second-leg Champions League tie against Arsenal.

Barcelona will play their first Last 16 game against Arsenal on 16/17th of February, or the 23/24th.

Turan was part of the Atletico Madrid side that reached the Champions League final that ended up losing to rivals Real.
