Turan added the following caption to the picture of Rafinha: “Sorry to hear what happened brother, hope you make a speedy recovery and return stronger.”
Rafinha suffered a tear to the anterior cruciate ligament in his right leg following the 1-1 draw against Roma and has been ruled out for long spell on the sidelines.
The Spanish international is set to undergo surgery in the coming days and according to Spanish website Sport.
Barcelona were held to a draw in their opening Champions League group stage game against the Italian giants but Turan was unable to feature due to the FIFA transfer ban currently imposed on the club.
Despite having signed a five-year deal with the Barcelona the club are unable to register Turan until January.
The bearded winger cannot play any club game but the ban does not apply to international football and Turan is expected to feature in key Euro 2016 qualification games against Czech Republic and Iceland.
