Galatasaray will be the sole Turkish representatives in the Champions League this season.
The Lions have been draw in Pot 3 alongside the likes of Roma, Lyon, Dynamo Kiev, Olympiakos and either Sporting Lisbon or CSKA Moscow.
The Istanbul giants could be set for a matchup against former Galatasaray star Arda Turan’s Barcelona side – although the bearded winger will not be able to play due to the FIFA transfer ban.
Galatasaray could also draw Mesut Özil’s Arsenal or Enes Ünal’s Manchester City – Ünal will however, be on loan at Genk.
The Lions finished last seasons Champions League group stages in last place.
