Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger knows how to make Ozil 'tick'

Mesut Özil has stated that the Gunners boss Arsene Wenger knows how to get the best out of him.

“He knows exactly how I tick and I know exactly what he thinks of me,” Özil told arsenal.com.

“I just want to help the team as much as possible on the pitch – that’s my target.

“Of course sometimes things work better than at other times, that’s football, but the manager believes in me and that means a lot to me.”

The Germany international is set to appear in the UEFA Champions league for the 8th season and is expected to be included in Arsenal’s starting line-up.

Özil played a staring role in the Gunners 2-0 win over Stoke City on Saturday.
