Arsenal playmaker Mesut Özil has stated that his side are strong enough to win more silverware next season.
Özil went onto say that the Gunners who secured their second consecutive FA Cup last season need to be more successful this season.
“I want to help the team as much as I can. Ultimately we have a strong team that can win everything,” Özil told Arsenal’s official website.
Our aim is to be more successful this season than we were in the last.”
Özil has spend this week on holiday in Istanbul, Turkey. The World Cup winner is expected to travel back to North London for the Emirates Cup against Lyon, Wolfsburg and Villarreal on the weekend.
The 26-year-old was part of the Gunners side that lifted the Barclays Asia Trophy cup in Singapore last Saturday after defeating Everton 3-1.
The World Cup winner provided nine assists and five goals in 32 appearances for Arsenal in all competitions last season.
