Arsenal face competition for £30m Man City striker as bookmakers slash odds on Turkey move

Besiktas have had their odds to sign Manchester City striker Wilfried Bony slashed by the bookmakers as the race to sign the Ivory Coast international hots up.

Skybet slashed the Black Eagles odds to sign Bony from 19 to 4 following reports of talks between Besiktas president Fikret Orman and City.

Everton remain favourites to sign Remy at odds of 3.5 and Arsenal who are reported to be launching a £30 million move for the striker according to the Daily Star are priced as outsiders at 7.

West Ham have also had their odds slashed after targeting the striker for a loan move following injury to record summer signing Andrew Ayew.

A source close to the club told Turkish-Football.com that Orman is currently in England holding talks with City over the loan transfer of Remy and Samir Nasri.

Bony has been instructed to leave the club and has not been included in City’s last three match day squads.

The Black Eagles are also in talks with Chelsea over loaning out-of-favour striker Loic Remy.
