Arsenal star Mesut Özil has picked up a minor knee injury according to the official Arsenal Twitter account.
The duration of the 26-year-old’s injury is yet to be determined however, he will miss the Premeir League game against Newcastle United.

Özil will join Jack Wilshere, Danny Welbeck, Laurent Koscielny, Per Mertesacker and Tomas Rosicky on the sidelines.
The World Cup winner had started in all of Arsenal’s games this season until picking up his injury.
Özil starred in the Community Shield match against Premier League champions Chelsea as well as league games against West Ham, Crystal Palace and Liverpool.
The record £42.5 million Arsenal signing has one assist to his name this season. The 26-year-old setup a goal and played a starring role in the Gunners 2-1 win over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
Özil missed most of the first half of last season due to an injury and only returned to first team football in January.
