Arsenal join race for Dortmund star Gündoğan [divider]
Arsenal are keeping close tabs on Borussia Dortmund star İlkay Gündoğan according to the Mirror.
Gündoğan could be available for a £16m deal if he does not chose to extend his contract.
The 24-year-old has 18 months left on his current deal but reportedly does not want to sign a new contract with Dortmund.
Gündoğan’s contract expires in 2016 and Dortmund want to avoid losing Gündoğan on a free transfer.
Manchester United and Liverpool are also reported to be interested in the Dortmund star.
Gündoğan was one of the central figures of the Dortmund side that reached the final of the UEFA Champions League in the 2012-13 season.
The 24-year-old was ruled out out of first team football for over 400 days with injury but has since recovered.
Gündoğan has one goal and two assists in 12 appearances for Dortmund this season.
