Arsenal are keeping close tabs on Beşiktaş star Oğuzhan Özyakup according to Turkish sports newspaper Fanatik.

The Gunners are reported to be scouting the Turkish international star but the Black Eagles have underlined that they do not wish to part ways with Özyakup until at least the summer transfer window.

The 23-year-old has underlined that he is happy at Beşiktaş but also revealed that he does wish to return to the Premier League one day.

Özyakup said: “I do want to playing the Premier League again someday.”

The young midfielder is of course no stranger to Premier League football having joined Beşiktaş from Arsenal in 2012 for a fee of €500,000. The Turkish international star was part of the Gunners Under-18s side that won the Premier Academy League title in 2009.

Özyakup has been one of the most in-form players for Beşiktaş this seasons scoring five goals and providing six assists in all competitions for the Black Eagles this season and another two-years remaining on his current contract.
