Arsenal close in on a €1m deal for Turkish wonderkid Batuhan Yayıkçı [divider]
Arsenal have been linked with a move for Fenerbahçe youth player Batuhan Yayıkçı according to DHA.
The Gunners have been keeping tabs on the 18-year-old over the past season and are considering making a bid for the Turkish U19 international.
The young left-back has been compared to Gareth Bale due to his pace and attacking ability.
Yayıkçı also has a reputation as being a set-piece specialist in Turkey.
Fenerbahçe have revealed that they want to keep hold of Yayıkçı but admit the lure of joining a Premier League giant may prove irresistible for the young fullback.
Yayıkçı was born in 1996 and has one goal in four appearances for the Fenerbahçe U21’s this season.
