Arsenal playmaker Mesut Özil attempted to troll Tottenham before the last weekend’s North London Derby but it backfired following his sides 2-1 defeat in the North London derby.
The World Cup winner took to Twitter to post the following message the night before the derby.
However, Arsenal went on to lose the game 2-1 leaving the World Cup winner red faced.
We doubt Özil will be making any bold social media predictions ahead of big games any time soon.

Özil scored in the North London derby on the weekend against Tottenham but his goal was not enough to prevent Spurs taking all three points.
Tottenham beat Arsenal 2-1 to move into 5th place on 43 points.
Özil has two goals and one assist in 2015 since recovering from a knee injury that ruled him out of action since October.
Arsenal are currently 6th in the Premier League on 42 points after 24 games.
