Mesut Ozil has taken to social media to connect with his fans on his day off.
The Arsenal playmaker posted a selfie while driving his car along with the caption, “M1O #behappy #gn8.”
Ozil has been in good form lately which includes goals against Bayern Munich and Premier League rivals Manchester United. The Germany international also scored in Arsenal’s 1-1 draw with Norwich last Sunday.
The Gunners looked set to record a comfortable victory however, the Canaries managed to level the score before half-time. Arsenal were unable to to find the winning goal in the second half.
There was yet more disappointment as Alexis Sanchez picked up what looked to be a hamstring injury. Laurent Koscielny also came off injured to add to Arsenal’s injury woes.
Arsenal host Sunderland at the Emirates Stadium next weekend in the Premier League.
