The Gunners flew out to Singapore ahead of the the Barclays Asia Trophy. Arsenal will will return from Asia for the Emirates Cup in London, where they’ll face Lyon and VFL Wolfsburg on 25th/26th July at Emirates Stadium.
Özil posted a picture on Twitter and Instagram of himself along with a football and shared the following caption, “Football & Mesut? Forever as one!”
The World Cup winner has won two Vitality Arsenal Player of the Month and a PFA Fans Player of the Month award since the turn of the year.
Özil provided nine assists and five goals in 32 appearances for Arsenal in all competitions last season.
