Mesut Ozil had a surprisingly low passing accuracy of just 69% during Arsenal’s 3-2 defeat at the hands of Manchester United.

However, the majority of the 27-year-old’s mis-placed passes were in the final third of the field. Ozil also provided an assist and scored his sides second goal.

Ozil create a grand total of six goal scoring opportunities more than any other player over the course of the 90 minutes but only one was converted.

Arsenal have now gone a decade without winning away against United and dropped five points behind league leaders Leicester City.

The former Real Madrid now created 111 chances in the Premier League this season – the highest in the league – however, the Gunners have scored the fewest goals in the top-four (43).

Ozil has provided 18 assists in the Premier League this season and is just two assists away from matching the league record of 20 set by Thierry Henry.
