Arsenal star Mesut Ozil heaps praise on Germany following back to back wins

Arsenal playmaker Mesut Özil has heaped praise on the Germany national team after securing back to back wins in their Euro 2016 qualification campaign.

The World Cup 2014 winners recorded wins over both Poland and Scotland over the past week of international football.

Germany sit at the top of Group D with 19 points in eight games but are yet to secure their place at next summers competition.

Özil posted a picture of himself celebrating with Thomas Muller along with the caption, “matches, 6 points Quite a successful international break.”

Germany play Ireland and Georgia in their final two games of the group stages in October.

The 26-year-old missed Arsenal’s clash with Newcastle due to a knee injury last week but is expected to play his second game in four days later today.

Özil return from injury will be a boost to Arsenal fans. The Gunners were the only club from the top five European leagues not to sign an outfield player during the summer transfer window.
