Arsenal star Mesut Ozil is the 'best no. 10' in the world says Hector Bellerin

Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin has stated that Mesut Ozil is the best No 10 in the world.

Ozil is in phenomenal form this season after providing 13 assists in the Premier League and is closing in on Thierry Henry’s record of 20 in a season.

“All players have their ups and downs when they arrive in the Premier League,” Bellerin told the Sun.

“We are all very happy he is finding himself and playing even better.

“He is making so many assists and scoring so many goals. There’s not a No 10 better than him right now. We’re very happy to have him.”

After a slow start to his Arsenal career, Ozil is proving to the Arsenal fans that he was worth the £42.4million they paid  back in 2013.

Ozil is set to become Arsenal’s record earner according to the Italian website Tutto Mercato Web.

The report states that Ozil is set to be rewarded with a new contract worth approximately £8.2million-a-year – which would be the most expensive salary package the club have ever offered to a player.

Ozil has been in sensational form this season and has won back-to-back Vitality Arsenal Play of the Month awards over the last two months.

Arsenal take on Manchester City on Monday in a critical league encounter which could see the North London based side go top.
