Arsenal star Mesut Ozil has stated that tomorrow’s UEFA Champions League encounter with Olympiakos will be ‘very hard.’

The 27-year-old is expected to start in his favoured no.10 role tomorrow as he looks to lead his side to a memorable victory.

Arsenal need to defeat the Greek champions by two goals if they are to qualify to the Last 16 and avoid the Europa League.

“It will be very hard,” Ozil was quoted as saying by ESPN.

“Olympiakos can play good football and we saw that at Emirates Stadium. They want to play on the counterattack but we can’t concede goals like we did before again.

“The fans will be behind them and our goal is to beat them. It’s achievable to win there by two goals and that’s what we want to do. We have to really give everything so that we can achieve this and get through to the next round.”

Ozil provided his 12th assist for the season for Arsenal’s opening goal against Sunderland on the weekend. The Germany international received a rating of 8.5 from WhoScored making him the man of the match made five key passes and took 122 touches on the ball during the game.

Ozil has scored four goals and provided 12 assists in 20 appearances for Arsenal this season.
