Mesut Ozil provided his 13th assist in15 Premier League games during Arsenal’s win over Aston Villa.
The 27-year-old set up the Gunners second goal in a win which moves Arsenal into first place in the Premier League.
Olivier Giroud scored the North London based sides opening goal in Arsenal’s 2-0 win over Aston Villa. Ozil set-up Aaron Ramsey’s strike which doubled his sides lead.
Özil is has won the Arsenal Vitality Player of the Month award for the past two consecutive months and has 13 assist in 14 Premier League games this season.
The Germany international also played a key role in the Gunners 3-0 win over the Greek giants that took his side through into Champions League Last 16 for the 15th consecutive season.
Arsenal take on last season’s runners up Manchester City next week in the Premier League.The Gunners will find out who they face in the Last 16 of the Champions League on Monday.
