Arsenal playmaker Mesut Özil has taken to Instagram to share a slice of his family life ahead of this weekend’s clash with Newcastle.
The 26-year-old seems to be in a relaxed mood after uploaded an image of himself holding his niece.
Özil posted the following caption along with the picture, “M&M

Özil is expected to start in Saturday’s encounter with Newcastle at St James’ Park. The Germany international has started all three of Arsenal’s games this season and provided an assist in the victory over Crystal Palace.
The Gunners have gotten off to a slow start to the season with just one win in three games. The North London based side can move up into joint second place with a win this week – depending on results.
Newcastle are yet to record a win under newly appointed manager Steve Mcclaren. The Magpies sit in 17th place with two points in three games.
