Arsenal star Mesut Ozil ruled out of Newcastle game with knee injury

Arsenal playmaker Mesut Özil has been ruled out of Arsenal’s squad which faces Newcastle united following a knee injury.

The North London based club Tweeted the news out after announcing the Gunner’s starting line-up.

Özil missed three months of football due to a knee injury sustained last season.

The Germany international has started all three of Arsenal’s games this season and provided an assist in the victory over Crystal Palace.

Arsenal have gotten off to  a slow start to the season with just one win  in three games. The North London based side can move up into joint second place with a win this week – depending on results.

Newcastle are yet to record a win under newly appointed manager Steve Mcclaren. The Magpies sit in 17th place with two points in three games.
