Arsenal star to miss Germany national team action due to injury

Arsenal playmaker Mesut Özil is set to miss international action with Germany at the end of the week following a knee-injury.

The club confirmed that Özil missed the Newcastle United game due to injury on their official Twitter account.

The Independent reported that Özil will be out for a week which would rule him out of the Germany national team games against.

Germany take on Poland on 4 September and Scotland on 7 September.
