Arsenal defender offered to European giants

Arsenal full-back Mathieu Debuchy has been offered to Galatasaray according to the clubs Sporting Director Levent Nazifoğlu.

Nazifoğlu told Turkish-Football.com that while Debuchy had been offered to the Lion’s, no official offer has been made.

Meanwhile, Turkish sports journalist Gökmen Özdemir recently shared a tweet stateing that Arsenal have accepted a loan bid Galatasaray.

However, the Lion’s are yet to agree personal terms with the French defender. ‘Arsenal and Galatasaray have reached an agreement on Debuchy. The player with his family are expected to make the final decision,’ Özdemir Tweeted.

Debuchy spent the second half of last season on loan at Ligue 1 outfit Bordeaux but only made nine appearances due to injury. Galatasaray previously signed the Ivory Coast international right-back Emmanuel Eboue from Arsenal.

The France international still has another three-years remaining on his Arsenal contract but has made just 12 appearances for the club since joining in July 2014.
