Arsenal will hold talks with Mesut Özil and will ask him to explain why he was spotted in a Berlin nightclub hours after being declared unfit to play due to an illness.

According to the London Evening Standard newspaper, Arsenal are relaxed about the situation and stressed prior to kick-off at St James’ Park that Özil’s condition was nothing serious.

Arsene Wenger will speak to Özil to clarify exactly what happened although the 26-year-old is unlikely to face any disciplinary action.
