Arsenal v Chelsea: Confirmed starting line-up’s – Ozil starts in Community Shield

FA Cup champions Arsenal take on Premier League winners Chelsea in the Community Shield at Wembley.

Gunners star Mesut Özil will start and has the chance to win his third piece of silverware this summer following the FA Cup, Barclays Asia Trophy and the Emirates Cup.

Arsenal recorded an emphatic 6-0 victory over Lyon with goals coming from Giroud, Oxlade Chamberlain, Iwobi, Ramsey, Cazorla and Özil.

The Gunners will be without Danny Welbeck due to injury while Alexis Sanchez and David Ospina are both out due to extended leave following the Copa America.

Today’s encounter comes 64 days after Arsenal ended the 2014-15 seasons with a 4-0 win over Aston Villa in the FA Cup final.

Petr Cech makes his Arsenal debut against his former side Chelsea where he spent 11 seasons and won several Premier League titles as well as the Champions League.
