Arsenal v Liverpool – Confirmed starting line-up’s – Emre Can and Mesut Ozil start

Emre Can and Mesut Ozil will face each other for the first time today when Arsenal take on Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium. The game will kick-off is at 12:45 (GTM) and will be officiated by Anthony Taylor.

Both Can and Ozil were born in Germany to Turkish parents and have been a success for their clubs since joining.

Arsenal will move into second place if they secure a win over Liverpool today while the Reds can move within a point of Manchester United with a victory.

Danny Welbeck failed a late fitness test and will start on the bench while Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has been ruled out due to a hamstring injury.

Dejan Lovren has been replaced by the experienced Kolo Toure defence. Steven Gerrard has been ruled out following red card against Manchester United
