Arsenal’s Mesut Özil to face Liverpool’s Emre Can for the first time

Arsenal playmaker Mesut Özil will face Liverpool’s versatile midfielder Emre Can for the first time in his career when the Gunners take on the Reds in the Premier League on Saturday.
Özil was born in Germany to Turkish parents from by the Hışıroğlu village which is located in the Zonguldak province of North-Western Turkey.
Can was also born in Germany to Turkish parents and is eligible to represent Germany and Turkey at international level.

Özil has four goals and seven assists in all competitions for Arsenal this season. Emre Can has one assist and one goals in 33 appearances for Liverpool this season.
Liverpool managed to salvage a point in a 2-2 draw when the two sides met earlier on in the season. The Reds are under pressure following their defeat to Manchester United before the international break.
