Arsenal backed up their mid-week victory in the UEFA Champions League win with another victory in the league against Aston Villa.

Mesut Ozil was one of the stars of the show and added yet another assist to his tally.

The 27-year-old now has 13 assists in 15 Premier League games. Ozil has also found the back of the net four times this season.

Olivier Giroud scored the Gunners opener from the penalty spot while Aaron Ramsey doubled his sides lead when he capped off a wonderful assist by Ozil.

Arsenal have moved into first place with todays victory and will remain in pole position if Leicester City drop points against Chelsea on Monday.
