Atletico Madrid set to make €12m offer for Man City target Gokhan Tore

West Ham v Chelsea

Atletico Madrid are set to make a €12 million bid for Besiktas winger Gokhan Tore according to the Hurriyet.

Tore would replace Arda Turan on the wing should he end up joining the La Liga giants.

Besiktas vice-president Ahmet Nur Cebi stated that an offer of €9 million has been made for Tore but did not disclose the club involved in the bid.

“There is no player that is not for sale including Gokhan Tore and we have received a bid for €9 million but did not sell as we want a higher fee,” Cebi was quoted as saying.

Cebi did however, underline that he would prefer the Turkish international to stay at the club.

“Players like Tore, Oguzhan and Kerim would develop into far better players under Senol Gunes and increase their value three fold,” he added.

“We have received offers but we want €12 million and if nobody meets our valuation he will stay at the club,” he told Radyospor.
