The Turkish international winger underlined that the tie is not over and that Barcelona still have a lot to do in order to progress to the quarter-final stage.
“First we have to eliminate Arsenal but all teams are of a high standard at this stage and we have to get the job done before thinking ahead,” Turan told Mundo Deportivo.
Turan also stated that reaching the Spanish Cup final has allowed Barca more breathing space to focus on the Champions League.
“The good news is we have a good advantage in the League Cup and are already in the final, so now we can focus more on the Champions League,” he added.
The bearded winger missed the first-leg due to serving a suspension from last season when he was sent off against Real Madrid in the Champions League while playing for Atletico Madrid.
Turan will however, be available for the return-leg tie at the Camp Nou against the Gunners in a fortnights time.
Barca have won all 12 games in which the 29-year-old winger has featured this season and are on a record breaking 34 match unbeaten run.
