Barcelona are closely monitoring Mesut Ozil’s situation at Arsenal according to TalkSport.
The sports radio station claim that the Catalan giants are increasing their interest in the 27-year-old playmaker.
Ozil called on the Gunners Boss Arsene Wenger to strengthen the squad over the summer. The Germany international also praised the new Manchester City boss and former Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola.
TalkSport go onto state that while Ozil is not looking to leave London, Barcelona feel they can tempt him back to the La Liga where he once starred for Real Madrid.
The World Cup winner picked up the Germany player of the year award for the fourth time ahead of the international clash against England in Berlin yesterday.

Ozil won nearly half of the vote 49.5 percent beating Thomas Muller who came second with 16 percent to pick up the title for the fourth time in five years.
The Germany international has 19 assists and seven goals in 38 appearances for Arsenal in all competitions this season.
