Turkish international star Arda Turan has revealed that he is desperate to win the Champions League after missing out on winning the competition in 2014.
The bearded winger has been close to winning the trophy before in fact Atletico Madrid were just a minute away from being crowned champions of Europe back in the 2014 final against rivals Real Madrid.
“A club like Barcelona always wants to win every competition. I was only a minute away from winning the Champions League at Atletico Madrid so I want to win it even more now with Barcelona,” Turan told Bein Sport in a recent interview.
Turan knows that no side has ever won the Champions League back-to-back but believes Barcelona have what it takes to break that record.
Barcelona have been breaking records all season and are currently 32 games unbeaten which is unprecedented in the clubs history.
Barca have also won all 11 games since Turan made his debut for the club against Espanyol in the Spanish Cup last month.
The Turkish international had to wait six-months till he made his debut due to the FIFA transfer ban imposed on the club but has three assists in 11 appearances since the restrictions were lifted.
