The 29-year-old is settling into life at Barcelona and has established a good relationship with his teammates and manager.
“It was difficult to accept five months without being able to play but he’s okay now. The strength he has is because he’s found it very comfortable in the dressing-room with his team-mates and his coach,” Bulut was quoted as saying by Four Four Two.
“He’s very happy to be at Barca, the best team in the world.”
Turan played in both of Turkey’s Euro 2014 qualification games against Latvia and the Netherlands last month.
The La Liga champions attempted to register Turan to their squad following a long term injury to Rafinha. The Spain international is expected to be out for months with a long term injury after suffering a torn cruciate ligament.
However, FIFA have rejected Barcelona’s request to register Turan in place of the injured Rafinha according to the Spanish newspaper Marca.
