Başakşehir have denied interest in AC Milan midfielder Michael Essien.
Club football coordinator Mustafa Saral has ruled out a move for the former Chelsea and Real Madrid star according to Eurosport TR.

“It is a rumour, I know a lot of our fans were getting excited about the prospect of Essien joining us but we are not in talks,” Saral said.
Essien has also been closely linked with a January transfer to Trabzonspor.
The Ghanian international joined AC Milan on a free transfer last January and has made nine appearances for Milan this season.
Essien is free to talk with other clubs due to his contract set to run out at the end of the season.
The 32-year-old midfielder has experience playing for Chelsea and Real Madrid.
Başakşehir have the best defensive record in the Süper Lig, Başakşehir have only conceded 10 goals all season.
The newly promoted side are fifth in the Süper Lig with 28 points from 17 games.
Başakşehir take on Istanbul rivals Kasımpaşa at the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stadium in the Süper Lig next week.
